1. Where are you located?

Sumtur is located just off 108th Street and Highway 370 in Papillion just south of Papillion LaVista South High School. View an online map.

2. Where can I park?

Sumtur has parking for 250 cars in our on-site parking lot. Additional parking is located at the stadium parking lot at Papillion LaVista South High School. During some events a shuttle will be in operation from Sumtur to the stadium parking lot.

3. What are your hours?

Sumtur hours vary by event and the schedule can be found on the events page on our website. Sumtur can also be schedule for tours by emailing the manager.

4. Is Sumtur ADA accessible?

Sumtur is fully ADA compliant and offers handicapped parking, seating, sidewalk ramps, and concessions access.

5. Does Sumtur Amphitheater host free events?

As a City of Papillion venue Sumtur offers a number of free recreational programs throughout the season including free movies, concerts and other events. For more information, please see the events page.

6. Where can I buy tickets?

For Sumtur produced events, tickets can be purchased online or at the Sumtur box office next to the main gate. For promoter produced events tickets are available their ticket provider. Specific ticket info including ticket link and box office opening times are included on each event page.

7. Are there fixed seats or do we need to bring our own?

Sumtur has 350 stadium seats near the stage and hillside seating for an additional 2,150 people. It is advised to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy an event from our hillside. There may be further limitations to what you may bring in during larger ticketed events so check the page for the event for further details.

8. What forms of payment are acceptable?

Sumtur concession stand and ticket booth accepts cash and credit cards. Checks are not accepted for payments on-site at Sumtur Amphitheater.

9. Are concessions available?

Sumtur concession stands offer a variety of food and drinks to include hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn and other snacks. Drinks include soda, water and alcoholic beverages. When the heat index reaches 100 degrees Sumtur will provide free ice water for the safety and convenience of our customers.

10. What may I bring into the facility?

Outside food and beverages are not allowed into the facility with the exception of 1 sealed bottle of water for each patron. Other items that can't be brought into the facility include; weapons, coolers, noise makers, drugs, etc. Download a list of prohibited items (PDF).

11. Does the amphitheater spray for bugs?

The City of Papillion periodically sprays for bugs in and around the Walnut Creek Recreation Area during the spring, summer and fall. Please understand that due to the nature and size of the park not all bugs can be eradicated.

12. Where can I smoke?

Sumtur works with Tobacco Free Sarpy to keep the amphitheater a smoke and tobacco free environment. As a convenience to our smoking customers a designated smoking area is provided at the north (rolling) gate.

13. What if it rains?

Sumtur events are held rain or shine. Due to public safety there may be a special occasion that we cancel events for inclement weather. If that is the case any closures or delays will be posted to the event website and to the Sumtur Facebook and Twitter page.

14. How can I host an event at the amphitheater?

Sumtur Amphitheater is available to rent and perfect for concerts, weddings, party's, etc. For information, see our rental page.

Sumtur has a wide variety of performance, employment and volunteer opportunities. Email the amphitheater manager, or visit the volunteer page.
